Apprentice 1st Line Engineer (CLOSED)
A opportunity has arisen based in our Hastings town centre Office, for an IT Support Apprentice. If successful within the apprenticeship term, this will lead to a career within the Company.
The IT Support Apprentice will gain skills and knowledge through work placed training and outsourced certified courses, whilst being paid.
The role involves telephone IT Support and occasional on-site work. You will need to be able to demonstrate a calm, friendly and reassuring presence to our clients.
Excellent candidates will have a good knowledge of PC’s, networking and built-in management utilities including multiple ways of achieving tasks. Communication skills will also be key in this role to inspire customer confidence in your abilities.
Although training will be provided it would be an advantage if candidates have some basic knowledge of:
- Windows Servers
- VoIP Systems
- Networking – Routers / Switches
- DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP Transport
- Active Directory / Group Policy
- Microsoft 365 / Microsoft Exchange
- Printers / Scanners
- Third-Party Software Troubleshooting

Experienced Engineer (CLOSED)
A rare opportunity has arisen based in our Hastings town centre Office, for an experienced IT Support Engineer on our Helpdesk with occasional on-site visits.
The successful applicant will have experience of working in an IT Support environment, troubleshooting Windows Desktop, Server and VoIP, delivering 1st, 2nd & 3rd line support.
The successful IT Support Engineer must be up to date with latest developments in Server, Cloud and VoIP technology, with a commitment to delivering the highest standards of Customer Service, by phone and face-to-face.
The ideal IT Support Engineer will have the following experience:
- 3 years experience in a technical support / help-desk environment
- Windows Server – Deployment and troubleshooting including Active Directory & Group Policy
- Microsoft Hyper-V – Configuration and administration
- Desktop OS Troubleshooting
- Third Party Software Troubleshooting e.g. Sage, Quickbooks
- VoIP Systems – Planning, Deployment & Support
- Networking – Routers, Switches and vLans
- DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP Transport troubleshooting
- Microsoft 365 configuration – Deployment and migration including Sharepoint, Exchange and Endpoint Manager
- Project planning, execution, and completion
This role is very dynamic, supporting local and national customers. You will be exposed to a range of business environments and requirements and need to be able to adapt your solutions to the needs of individual clients. Day to day jobs can vary significantly and good candidates will use their fundamental knowledge sets to take on new challenges and technologies.
This position is easily commutable from St. Leonards-on-sea, Bexhill, Crowhurst, Westfield, Fairlight, Ashford, Tunbridge Wells, Eastbourne and surrounding areas.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
